These RF amplifier-based front ends combine several functions into one product to simplify the overall signal chain in applications such as telecommunications, radar, and electronic warfare. The SWaP of these solutions is significantly reduced compared to separate functional block alternatives. One application is for the transmit/receive front end of a phased array radar antenna.
