This document will provide design guidance to successfully implement a gesture detection system utilizing either the MAX25205 or MAX25405 gesture sensor. The gesture detection system will be broken down into its major system level blocks and describe each of those blocks in further detail. Two typical design examples will be shown. One for a dome light control and the other for an automotive infotainment system. Key design elements based on these two examples will relate basic design elements to many other gesture detection systems.
