Analog Devices’ high gain optical limiting amplifiers feature low power, low jitter, and excellent sensitivity performance. Our limiting amplifiers include receiver functions such as quantization, loss of signal detection, and SFF-8472-compliant average power measurement. Along with SFP, SFF, and GBIC MSA module designs, our amplifiers also support physical layer protocols that include 1 ×, 2 ×, and 4 × fiber channels, 10GBASE-LX4, multiple rate SONET/SDH up to OC-48 with FEC, and Gigabit Ethernet.

Analog Devices’ RS-485 solutions meet true multipoint specifications, supporting up to 32 drivers and receivers on a 2-wire bus—with select transceivers enabling up to 8× more node connections. These products offer enhanced noise immunity and simplified design. Choose from standard or iCoupler® isolated RS-485 options.

Our RS-232 transceiver portfolio includes up to five drivers and receivers, supporting supply voltages from 1.8 V to 5.5 V, and is available in single, dual, and combination configurations. Transceivers are also offered for 3.3 V or 5 V supplies to support data terminal equipment (DTE) or data communications equipment (DCE) applications. Galvanically isolated modules provide low EMI, self-powered solutions that eliminate ground loops and reduce component count.
